Ashley Furniture Building New Store in Milford

Sussex County, MD - Transformative Retail Group (TRG) has shared the news that a new Ashley Furniture Store is on the way to Milford, Delaware.

TRG runs furniture stores in Sussex County under the FurnitureLand and Ashley names. The Milford store is the group's latest step in growing across the area.

Work on the new showroom has already started. The store, Ashley, 55 Lighthouse Estates Drive, Milford, DE, will sit along Route One and cover 30,000 square feet.

Once it is finished, it will be TRG's fourth retail campus in the region. It will be the company's third Ashley store in the area.

All of TRG's stores rely on a busy order fulfillment campus in Delmar, DE. That site handles the work of getting orders out to customers.

The new store will bring more local jobs. With Milford added, TRG will have 100 team members working across Sussex and Kent Counties.

Excel Construction is handling the build. The same company built the Ashley store in Millsboro, DE.

Justin Barnes, co-CEO of TRG, talked about the project and the support the company has received from the city.

The City of Milford has been very welcoming and city officials, including Planning Director Rob Pierce have been professional and accommodating. Our Contractor, Excel Construction is among the most elite in the field and will manage the job with great care for the neighbors and residents of Milford."

TRG runs its Ashley stores as a licensee of the brand. There are about 770 Ashley stores across the United States.

According to the company, Ashley is known as the top furniture retail store in North America. Ashley Furniture Industries is known as the largest furniture maker in the world.

The company says its American factories and its network of stores create more U.S. jobs in furniture sales and manufacturing than any other brand.
