Page Complaints
We understand that our content may not appeal to everyone. We believe in giving our followers the freedom to choose what they wish to engage with and providing a variety of different news articles each day.
We welcome varying opinions and we recognize that some individuals may follow our page then later on decide it's not for them. If you find our content isn't aligning with your preferences, you can unfollow us at any time. Remember, being part of Eastern Shore Undercover® is a choice, not an obligation.
That being said, those who complain about the content we publish, on our social media pages or how we operate the page, will be removed. No exceptions!
Authenticity of All Content
We are committed to maintaining the authenticity and integrity of all content published on our social media platforms. All news publications come from reliable sources, such as police, fire, and EMS dispatch communications, trustworthy informants, or verified press releases.
We verify and update information as soon as it becomes available, distributing it to our community when it is safe. We promise never to post fabricated news stories or produce any type of clickbait material.
Language, Name Calling, and Comment Professionalism
Both adults and high school-aged individuals use Eastern Shore Undercover®. Therefore, we ask that you minimize foul language. There is no need for vulgarity, and we simply request that harsh language be kept off the page.
Any comments containing excessively vulgar language that our system detects will be removed.
Additionally, we will not allow name calling on any of our pages. It's unprofessional and looks terrible from a media point of view. If you wish to lower your standards to name calling, please do it on your page, not on ours. If you do it, we will remove your comment. If you continue to do it and we see a trend in how you conduct yourself, you will be removed from the page.
Removal of Posts
We do not remove posts once they are published unless requested to do so by law enforcement, fire departments, or qualified government agencies.
Transparency is a core value at Eastern Shore Undercover®, and this policy ensures that all public and appropriate calls are shared, maintaining trust and transparency with our community, free from favoritism or bias.
Safety
Safety is our top priority. We will not tolerate threatening or harmful comments, or name calling of any type. Any comment deemed to be a threat or could be considered a threat, will be removed immediately, and the individual will be banned from our social media pages without exception. Our platform is a safe space for everyone, free from intimidation and harassment.
Privacy
We respect your privacy. No addresses, personal information, or material violating privacy will be posted unless provided by a government agency in an official, verifiable capacity, such as a press release after being charged or convicted. Any comments containing identifying information will be removed.
Dignity and Fairness to All
We believe in the equal dignity and rights of all followers. Respect is paramount. Harassment, degradation, and derogatory comments are not tolerated.
Racial comments are strictly forbidden and will result in you being immediately removed from our social media pages. Eastern Shore Undercover® welcomes individuals of all races and nationalities.
Updates on Social Media Posts and News Articles
While we wish we could update each post, information is often unavailable. Please refrain from requesting updates via direct messages to the page. When updates are available, they will be posted in the original post.
Linking and URLs
To maintain the integrity of our content, we do not permit links or URLs on our social media pages. We cannot verify the information in these links and lack the resources to do so.
Additionally, links often contain viruses and spam, which we want to avoid spreading throughout our social media pages. Therefore, any posted links detected by our system will be automatically removed.
Relevance of Comments
Comments unrelated to the original post will be removed. While humor is appreciated, off-topic comments can create confusion and will be deleted to maintain focus and clarity.
