Cambridge Man Arrested on Eight Missed Court Warrants
Cambridge, MD - On Monday, October 5, 2026, at approximately 11:25 a.m., the Cambridge Police Department located and arrested a Cambridge man who was wanted on eight court warrants.
The man was identified as Clarence R. Beck 3rd, 50, of Cambridge. He is now being held at the Dorchester County Department of Corrections with no bond.
All eight warrants came from the Dorchester County District Court. Each one is a bench warrant for failing to appear in court.
A bench warrant is issued by a judge when someone misses a court date. It allows police to arrest that person and bring them back before the court.
According to police, Beck missed two separate court dates last month. The first was on Thursday, September 17, 2026, and the second was on Monday, September 28, 2026.
Five of the warrants are tied to the September 17, 2026 court date. One of those is for an original charge of Trespass Posted Property.
Two more of the September 17, 2026 warrants are for CDS Possession Not Cannabis. CDS stands for controlled dangerous substance, and this charge covers having a drug other than cannabis.
The last two warrants from that date are for CDS Possession Paraphernalia.
The other three warrants are tied to the September 28, 2026 court date. One is for another original charge of Trespass Posted Property, and one is for CDS Possession Not Cannabis.
The final warrant from September 28, 2026 covers several charges at once. It lists two counts of CDS Possession Not Cannabis and two counts of CDS Possession Paraphernalia.
