Cambridge, MD - On Thursday, October 1, 2026, at approximately 5:10 p.m., the Cambridge Police Department located and arrested a Cambridge man who was wanted on four court warrants.

The man was identified as Nicholas Scott Donofrio, 41, of Cambridge, Maryland. He is now being held at the Dorchester County Department of Corrections with no bond.

All four of the warrants came from the Dorchester County District Court. Each one is a bench warrant for failing to appear in court.

According to police, Donofrio was due in court on Thursday, September 3, 2026. He did not show up, and the four warrants followed.

Two of the warrants are for missed court dates on charges of Malicious Destruction of Property. A third warrant is tied to charges of Resisting Arrest and Obstructing and Hindering.

The fourth warrant is tied to charges of Malicious Destruction of Property and Disorderly Conduct. Police did not share any details about the incidents that led to those original charges.

After his arrest, officers turned Donofrio over to the Dorchester County Department of Corrections. He remains there on no bond.

The Cambridge Police Department shared details of the arrest in a press release. Anyone with questions about this case can contact the Cambridge Police Department.
