Cambridge, MD - On Monday, October 5, 2026, at approximately 2:54 p.m., officers with the Cambridge Police Department located and arrested a Cambridge man wanted on two warrants.

The man was identified as Daniel Isiah Rock-White, 34, of Cambridge, Maryland. He was later released on a $500 unsecured bond.

An unsecured bond means Rock-White did not have to pay any money to be released. He would only owe the $500 if he fails to show up for court.

Both warrants came from the Dorchester County District Court. They are tied to two separate break-ins at the same home in the 300 block of Muir Street in Cambridge.

The first incident was reported on Monday, August 31, 2026. Police were called to the home after someone reported that it had been broken into and tools had been stolen.

A few days earlier, on Friday, August 28, 2026 construction workers were working at the property. They told police they saw a suspicious person there who ran away on foot.

About a month later, on Tuesday, September 29, 2026, at approximately 9:58 p.m., officers were called back to the same home. This time, the call was for a burglary in progress.

The victim was not at home at the time. According to police, the victim was watching a security camera and saw someone inside the house.

By the time officers arrived, the person had already left. Officers reviewed the video and identified the person as Rock-White.

Officers then applied for charges with the District Court Commissioner. A commissioner looks at the facts of a case and decides if charges should be filed.

The next day, on Wednesday, September 30, detectives followed up with the construction workers from the August incident. Police said the workers positively identified Rock-White as the person they saw on the property.

For the September 29 incident, Rock-White is charged with Burglary 4th Degree Dwelling, Burglary 4th Degree Theft, Burglary 4th Degree Tools, and Theft Less Than $100.

For the August incident, he is charged with Burglary 4th Degree Theft and Theft $100 to Under $1,500.

Fourth degree burglary is the lowest level of burglary charge in Maryland. It can include being inside a home without permission, being there to steal, or having tools that can be used to break in.
