Delaware Police Investigate Sexual Assault at Dover Job Site

State of DE - On August 18, 2026, at approximately 9:50 a.m., Delaware State Police troopers responded to a construction site on Lacey Lane in the Nobles Pond community in Dover, Delaware. They were called for a report of a sexual assault.

Troopers learned that around 8:00 a.m., an unknown white male suspect approached a male victim at the site. The suspect wore a mask and threatened the victim with a knife.

The suspect then sexually assaulted the victim before running toward a wooded area near Pearsons Corner Road and Seven Hickories Road.

Police searched the area but could not find him.

The suspect is described as a white male. He was last seen wearing a black mask, tan or khaki pants, a black shirt, and gloves, and he was carrying a knife.
