Easton Man Arrested Again on New Talbot Court Warrant
Talbot County, MD - On Friday, October 2, 2026, the Talbot County Sheriff's Office arrested an Easton man on a new court warrant.
The man was identified as David Codell Yeatman, 33, of Easton, Maryland. This is the second time in less than a week that deputies have arrested him.
The new warrant came from the District Court for Talbot County. It was issued the same day deputies made the arrest.
The warrant charges Yeatman with violating his release conditions. It also charges him with multiple counts of criminal contempt.
Release conditions are rules a court sets when a person is allowed out of jail while a case is still open. If a person is accused of breaking those rules, the court can order them arrested.
Criminal contempt is a charge for not following a court order.
This arrest comes just days after an earlier arrest. On Tuesday, September 29, 2026, the Sheriff's Office arrested Yeatman on a warrant for violating his probation.
That earlier warrant was tied to an original charge of 1st Degree Assault.
After the October 2 arrest, deputies took Yeatman to the Talbot County Central Booking facility.
There, he was processed and went before a District Court Commissioner for an initial appearance.
Yeatman was not released after that hearing. He was held pending further action by the courts.
