Fatal Crash on Snow Hill Road Kills 21-Year-Old Man
Worcester County, MD - On Wednesday, September 2, 2026 at approximately 10:30 a.m., troopers from the Maryland State Police Berlin Barrack responded to Snow Hill Road at St. Lukes Road for a two-vehicle crash. The crash claimed the life of a 21-year-old man in Worcester County.
The man who died has been identified as Nijee Williams-Seck, 21, of Virginia Beach, Virginia. He was driving a Nissan Maxima and was pronounced dead at the scene by emergency medical services.
A 17-year-old female was a passenger in the Nissan. She was flown by Maryland State Police Aviation Command to a local trauma center.
The driver of a Freightliner box truck, a 36-year-old man, was taken by ambulance to a local hospital for treatment. His injuries have not been described as life-threatening.
According to a preliminary investigation, the Nissan was traveling northbound on Snow Hill Road. For reasons that are still unknown, it crossed into the southbound lanes and struck the Freightliner.
Troopers from the Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Division responded to the scene. The Worcester County Sheriff's Office, the Maryland Department of Transportation State Highway Administration, and Snow Hill emergency medical services are also assisting.
All lanes remain closed while police investigate. The Maryland State Police Crash Team is leading the investigation, which is still active and ongoing.
