Federalsburg Man Arrested on Child Support Warrant

Talbot County, MD - On Wednesday, October 7, 2026, deputies with the Talbot County Sheriff's Office arrested a Federalsburg man on an active warrant.

The man was identified as Tarrell Marcus Hammond Sr., 49, of Federalsburg, Maryland. He was wanted for missing a court date.

The warrant came from the Circuit Court for Talbot County. It was issued on Thursday, September 17, 2026, about three weeks before the arrest.

According to the Sheriff's Office, the warrant charges Hammond with failing to appear for a scheduled hearing. That hearing was for a child support matter.

After the arrest, deputies took Hammond to the Talbot County Central Booking facility. There, he was processed on the warrant.

Hammond was ordered held on a $7,000 bond.
