Juvenile Charged as Adult in Princess Anne Armed Robbery
Princess Anne, MD - On September 5, 2026, officers with the Princess Anne Police Department responded to the area of Beechwood Street and William Street in Princess Anne, Maryland for a reported armed robbery.
Investigators say a suspect displayed what looked like a handgun and forcibly took a camera and camera equipment from the victim.
Officers cleared the area of any immediate threats. From there, the department's Criminal Investigation Division worked with patrol officers to track down the stolen property and identify the suspect.
A short time later, the suspect was taken into custody. The weapon used in the robbery was recovered and found to be a BB-style handgun that closely resembled a real semi-automatic handgun.
Police say the person arrested is a juvenile. Because of the seriousness of the charges, the juvenile is being charged as an adult.
The charges include Armed Robbery, First-Degree Assault, Second-Degree Assault, and Theft.
