Manhunt Underway Following Fatal Shooting in Milton
Milton, DE - The Delaware State Police are actively investigating a homicide that occurred in Milton, Delaware on April 11, 2026.
Authorities are seeking the public's assistance in locating 62-year-old Myron Savage of Milton, Delaware, who has been identified as the primary suspect.
At approximately 5:30 p.m., troopers responded to reports of a shooting on the 20000 block of Forest Road. Upon arrival, a 47-year-old man was found suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Delaware State Police Homicide Unit has assumed control of the investigation. Preliminary findings indicate that Savage approached the victim on foot in the front yard of a residence.
He reportedly shot the victim several times before fleeing the area on a black, 3-wheeled scooter. Detectives have obtained an arrest warrant for Savage and are currently working to apprehend him.
The public is urged to call 9-1-1 immediately with any information regarding the whereabouts of Myron Savage.
