Milton, DE - A Milton man is behind bars after Milford police connected him to two thefts and discovered drugs and a stolen gun at his home.

The Milford Police Department began investigating after two theft incidents were reported on the morning of May 27, 2026. Officers were called to a Shell Station on S. DuPont Boulevard at around 11:03 a.m., where a suspect wearing a mask allegedly attempted to steal merchandise before fleeing in a blue vehicle with a covered license plate.

Just seven minutes later, at 11:10 a.m., officers were sent to a Dollar Tree on Lexus Drive after another theft was reported. Witnesses there described the same suspect and vehicle. Police searched the area but were not able to locate the vehicle. In both cases, no force was used or threatened.
