NC Man Arrested After M&T Bank Stadium Assault
State of MD - The Maryland Transportation Authority (MDTA) Police have announced an arrest connected to a July incident at M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore, Maryland that was spread heavily on social media.
On Saturday, July 18, 2026, MDTA Police officers were providing support to the Baltimore Police Department at the Morgan Wallen concert at M&T Bank Stadium.
Officers responded to a report of a fight in progress inside the stadium.
When officers arrived, stadium security had already identified the people involved in the altercation. Officers separated those involved and identified a male suspect.
The suspect was escorted out of the stadium. Officers gave the victims his identification information along with a report number.
During that process, officers learned the suspect had allegedly urinated on concert attendees. This new information led to a deeper investigation by MDTA detectives.
Detectives conducted a thorough investigation into the incident. They were able to identify additional witnesses who were not present during the original on-scene investigation.
Once the investigation was complete, MDTA Police detectives consulted with the Baltimore City State's Attorney's Office. Together, they worked to build the case against the suspect.
Detectives obtained an arrest warrant for 33-year-old Jayson Reed. Reed faces four counts of second-degree assault, along with public urination and other related charges.
Reed was arrested in North Carolina by the Wilson County Sheriff's Office. He is currently being held there and is now awaiting extradition back to Maryland. Once extradited, he will face the charges filed against him in Baltimore.
