OC Air Show This Weekend: What You Need to Know
Ocean City, MD - The OC Air Show is back. If you're planning to head to Ocean City this weekend for the show, you'll want to read this before you go.
The show takes place Saturday, June 13, and Sunday, June 14, 2026, along the Boardwalk between 12th and 20th Street. Setup begins Friday, June 12, and several streets in that area will be closed and barricaded through the weekend. 15th Street and 17th Street will stay closed until around noon on Monday, June 15.
The City Hall parking lot at 301 Baltimore Avenue will also be off-limits starting Friday at 7 a.m., open only to authorized personnel.
Parking Is Going to Be Tough
Parking will be tight, especially on Saturday. Many private lots may raise their prices based on demand. The Town of Ocean City has municipal paid parking available at several spots along Baltimore Avenue, including Worcester, Somerset, Dorchester, North Division, 4th Street, and a small lot at North Division and St. Louis Avenue.
On-street parking near the event will be very limited. The town has also activated enhanced parking penalties for June 13-14 under Resolution 2025-10. If you park in a no-parking zone, red curb area, fire lane, near a fire hydrant, or on a sidewalk, expect a ticket.
Full parking details are available at oceancitymd.gov/oc/ocean-city-parking.
Skip the Parking Headache
The easiest option might be to skip driving to the event altogether. The Ocean City Beach Bus runs along Coastal Highway for just $4 all day, from 6 a.m. to 3 a.m. the following morning. You can ride between the South Division Street Transit Center, the North End Transit Center, and the West Ocean City Park & Ride, where parking is free.
Express shuttles are also running both days from the West Ocean City Park & Ride at 12848 Ocean Gateway, dropping off at 17th Street and Baltimore Avenue. Shuttles run every 20 minutes starting at 9 a.m. and continue for an hour after the show ends.
On Saturday, there's an additional shuttle from the Convention Center south lot to 18th Street and Baltimore Avenue. On Sunday, shuttles also run from 32nd Street and Daybreak Avenue to 18th Street and Baltimore Avenue.
Keep in mind that post-show bus service may run behind schedule due to the crowds. Plan for that before you head out.

Tips to Make the Most of Your Day
Try to arrive before 9 a.m. if you can. That's when traffic will really start to build. Once you're there, enjoy the Boardwalk exhibits between 12th and 20th Street and make a full day of it.
With big crowds expected all weekend, stay alert wherever you are. Pedestrians should use crosswalks and follow traffic signals. Drivers need to slow down, watch for people crossing, and put the phone down. If you're on a bike or scooter, follow traffic laws and use bike lanes when they're available.
It's going to be a great weekend in Ocean City. Go early, be patient, and enjoy the show.
