Salisbury City Offices Closed for Veterans Day 2026

Salisbury, MD - City of Salisbury offices will be closed on Wednesday, November 11, 2026, for Veterans Day. Here is what residents need to know about city services that day.

City offices will not be open for the holiday. Residents who need to take care of city business should plan around the closure.

Trash and recycling pickup will not change. Collection will run on its normal schedule, so residents can put their bins out on their usual day.

The Salisbury Zoo will stay open on Veterans Day. Residents and visitors are welcome to stop by and enjoy the zoo that day.

The city also took a moment to honor those who have served. In its announcement, the City of Salisbury thanked all veterans for their service, sacrifice, and dedication to the country.

"We are grateful to the men and women who have served and continue to serve in defense of our freedoms," the city said.
