Salisbury Fire Chief Named to National Commission

Salisbury, MD - Salisbury Fire Department Chief Rob Frampton has been appointed to serve as a Commissioner on the Commission on Professional Credentialing through the Center for Public Safety Excellence, Inc. The appointment was unanimously confirmed by the CPSE Board of Directors.

Chief Frampton will serve a three-year term from May 1, 2026, through April 30, 2029. He will represent fire chiefs and agency heads who serve populations under 50,000.

The appointment comes as no surprise to those who know Chief Frampton. During his time with the Salisbury Fire Department, he has built a strong reputation as a reliable leader and mentor who is deeply invested in the community.

From responding to emergencies to supporting firefighters behind the scenes, Chief Frampton has led with a focus on service, accountability and people. His leadership has helped strengthen training, preparedness and collaboration across the Eastern Shore.
