State of DE - A Salisbury, Maryland woman is facing charges after Felton Police say she robbed a man inside his own home last month.

The Felton Police Department arrested 27-year-old Lymyia Tratayshia Williams following an investigation into an assault that happened on Saturday, June 13, 2026. Officers responded to the 100 block of Honeybrook Lane around 12:10 p.m. that day.

Police say a 36-year-old man was inside his residence when Williams allegedly struck him in the face and took his cell phone. She then fled through the backyard, allegedly damaging a wooden fence along the way.

Williams had already left the area by the time officers arrived. Investigators worked to identify her as the suspect, and warrants were later issued for her arrest.

Two weeks later, on Saturday, June 27, Delaware State Police located Williams at the Rodney Village Shopping Center. Troopers learned she was wanted out of Felton and took her into custody without incident around 9:05 a.m.

Williams was also found to have an active capias from Justice of the Peace Court tied to an unrelated traffic matter. She was turned over to Felton Police to face the robbery-related charges.

She now faces the following charges:

  • Robbery Second Degree - Preventing or Overcoming Resistance to the Taking of Property (Class E Felony)
  • Offensive Touching (Misdemeanor)
  • Criminal Mischief (Misdemeanor)

Williams was arraigned through Justice of the Peace Court 7 and released on $2,200 unsecured bail. She's expected back in court at a later date.

Felton Police credited Delaware State Police for their help locating and arresting Williams.
