Queen Anne's County, MD - On October 13, 2026, the Queen Anne's County Sheriff's Office responded to Chesapeake Outdoors in Stevensville, MD, for a burglary that happened sometime overnight. A local man now faces four charges in the case.

That man has been identified as Timothy Adams, 48, of Stevensville, Maryland. Deputies say Adams used his truck to pull open a walk-in cooler and take a bag of razor clams.

An employee found the damage when he got to work early that morning. The walk-in cooler, which is located outside the business, had been forced open and badly damaged.

Deputy Meehan was sent to the business to look into the break-in. He went through the security video with the help of an employee.

The video showed a man taking a rope out of his truck. He tied one end to the cooler door and the other end to the back of the truck.

The man then drove forward. The pull from the truck yanked the cooler door open.

He walked inside and came out with a bushel bag of razor clams. He tried to shut the cooler door before he left, but it would not close.

Both the deputy and the employee knew the man in the video. They said it was Adams, based on past dealings with him.

The sheriff's office says the damage to the cooler and the value of the clams add up to about $5,080.

Deputy Meehan then went to Adams' home. He found Adams there wearing the same clothes seen in the video.

The truck from the video was also at the home. Adams was placed under arrest and charged accordingly.

The clams turned up later. A person who knows Adams found the bushel and turned it over to deputies as evidence.

Adams is charged with second degree burglary and fourth degree burglary. He also faces a charge of malicious destruction of property valued at $1,000 or more, along with theft under $100. Adams was ordered to be held without bond in this incident.
