Stevensville Woman Arrested Twice in One Week for Theft at Target
Queen Anne's County, MD - A Stevensville woman is facing multiple theft charges after Queen Anne's County deputies say she stole from the same Target store twice within the same week.
On Tuesday, May 5, 2026, Queen Anne's County Deputy Kollock was called to the Target in Stevensville just after 3 p.m. for a report of a theft in progress.
When Deputy Kollock arrived, he made contact with store loss prevention staff, who had already detained one person on the scene.
The Loss Prevention Manager told the deputy she recognized the woman being held. She identified her as Pebbles Johnson and said she believed Johnson had stolen from the store earlier that same week.
According to the report, loss prevention staff observed Johnson attempting to leave the store with a cart full of merchandise without paying. They stopped her before she could exit.
Deputy Kollock reviewed the surveillance footage from that day and confirmed what staff had described. The video showed Johnson attempting to leave the store without paying for the items in her cart.
The deputy then reviewed older surveillance footage from May 1, 2026. That video showed a suspect leaving the store without paying for merchandise. Deputy Kollock positively identified that suspect as Johnson as well.
Based on both incidents, Johnson was placed under arrest at the scene.
The total value of merchandise from both thefts came to $226.
Johnson now faces the following charges: Theft $100 to under $1,500, two counts, and Theft Scheme $100 to under $1,500.
