Suspect Sought After Seaford Hit and Run Crash

Seaford, DE - On August 27, 2026 at approximately 7:14 p.m., the Seaford Police Department responded to the area of North St. and Collins Ave. for a hit and run collision. Officers arrived on scene and found two vehicles involved. Both vehicles were unoccupied.

An investigation revealed a woman was driving north on North St. before the crash. Police say she appeared to swerve toward a man and woman standing next to a parked car.

The woman had been seen talking with the male subject a few minutes earlier. She got into her vehicle and drove around the area before the crash happened.

Police say the crash was caught on camera. Investigators believe she intentionally struck the parked vehicle in an attempt to hit one or both people standing nearby.

The woman left the scene before officers arrived. She has not been located.

A warrant has been issued for Kisha Deshields. She faces two counts of Reckless Endangering 1st, a felony. She also faces Criminal Mischief over $5,000, a felony.

Additional charges include Leaving the Scene of a Collision, a misdemeanor. She is also charged with Driving while Suspended, Criminal Mischief under $1,000, and Failure to Provide Information at a Collision, all misdemeanors.
