Talbot County Man Arrested on Probation Violation

Talbot County, MD - On August 30, 2026, deputies with the Talbot County Sheriff's Office arrested Nickolas James Gibson, 29, of Federalsburg, MD. Gibson was taken into custody on an active arrest warrant.

The warrant was issued on August 3, 2026, by the District Court for Talbot County. It charged Gibson with violation of probation.

Gibson was transported to the Talbot County Central Booking facility for processing. He then appeared before a District Court Commissioner for an initial appearance.

Gibson is being held without bond pending further action by the courts.
