U.S. Government Releases UFO Files to the Public for the First Time
National News - The federal government has officially opened its UFO files to the American public. The Department of War announced today the first release of never-before-seen documents, videos, and photos on Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena, better known as UAP.
All of the materials are now available to anyone at WAR.GOV/UFO, with no security clearance needed.
The release is part of a new program called the Presidential Unsealing and Reporting System for UAP Encounters, or PURSUE. It is a joint effort between several major government agencies.
That list includes The White House, the Office of the Director of National Intelligence, the Department of Energy, NASA, the FBI, and the Department of War's All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office.
President Donald J. Trump directed this effort after calling for total transparency on the topic of UAPs. The Department of War stated that no other president or administration in history has followed through on this level of UAP disclosure. More files are expected to be released on a rolling basis in the coming weeks and months.
Secretary of War Pete Hegseth said, "The Department of War is in lockstep with President Trump to bring unprecedented transparency regarding our government's understanding of Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena. These files, hidden behind classifications, have long fueled justified speculation and it's time the American people see it for themselves."
The public can view the full collection of declassified UAP files right now by visiting WAR.GOV/UFO. As additional documents are processed and cleared, they will be added to the site.
The government is encouraging Americans to review the information and come to their own conclusions.
