Wanted Seaford Man Taken Into Custody in Seaford Meadows

Seaford, DE - On August 8, 2026, Seaford Police Department officers conducted a wanted check on Jontae Lofland. The check showed Lofland was wanted out of Delaware Superior Court for breach of release.

Officers worked with Delaware Probation and Parole to locate him. The two agencies responded together to a residence in the Seaford Meadows community.

Officers were able to take Lofland into custody at the residence without incident. He was then transported for processing.

Lofland was arraigned out of the Justice of the Peace Court following his arrest. He was committed to the Delaware Department of Corrections.

His bail was set at $67,501 cash. He remains in custody as of this report.

Breach of release charges are filed when someone fails to follow the conditions set by a court after being released from custody. Those conditions can include check ins, travel restrictions, or other court ordered requirements.
