Woman Arrested After Refusing to Leave Queenstown ER

Queen Anne's County, MD - On August 17, 2026, the Queen Anne's County Sheriff's Office responded to Queenstown Emergency Room for a report of a verbal disturbance. While on the way, dispatch advised that a woman was refusing to leave the emergency room.

The woman was later identified as Lydia Bianco. Deputy Eckhardt, of the Queen Anne's County Sheriff's Office, made contact with hospital staff and security once he arrived.

Staff and security told the deputy that Bianco no longer had a reason to be on the property. They said she had already been asked to leave.

Deputy Eckhardt then made contact with Bianco. He told her she would be arrested if she did not leave the property.

Bianco was given multiple warnings but continued to refuse. She was placed under arrest.

Bianco was charged with trespassing a public agency during hours. She was also charged with resisting and interfering with arrest.
