Worcester County, MD - Worcester County property owners can now view their real estate tax bills online. The 2026-2027 tax bills became available starting July 1, 2026. You can access them anytime through the county's website.

Paying early has its perks. Worcester County offers a 0.5% discount on real estate taxes paid in full between July 1 and July 31. That's an easy way to save a little money if you're able to pay ahead.

Checking your bill online is simple. Just visit www.worcestermd.gov and click the "Taxes Online" icon on the homepage. This will take you to the Citizen Self Service portal, where you can select "Real Estate Taxes" to view your account and make an electronic payment.

If you'd rather have a paper copy, don't worry. Printed tax bills will be mailed out the week of July 6. You should have one in hand soon after online access opens.

Prefer to pay in person? You can do that too. The Treasurer's Office accepts cash or check at two locations across the county.

The first is the Worcester County Government Center at 1 W. Market Street, Room 1105, in Snow Hill. The second is the Isle of Wight Center at 13070 St. Martins Neck Road in Bishopville.

There's good news for anyone who visits the Isle of Wight Center. Starting July 1, that office will operate under expanded business hours to make things more convenient for taxpayers. Both the Bishopville and Snow Hill offices will now be open Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

County officials encourage property owners to review their tax bills as soon as possible. Getting ahead of it means fewer surprises and more time to take advantage of that early payment discount.

Have questions about your bill? The Treasurer's Office is ready to help. You can call 410-632-0686, ext. 3, or send an email to askthetreasurer@worcestermd.gov.
