11/19/2023 - I have to share with you all something that happened to us yesterday. One of our longtime followers, Mrs. Katie Dawson, many of you know her as Katie the Lobsta Lady, sent us a message and wanted to treat us to some fish, which I thought was just super kind of her.

If you don't know Mrs. Dawson, she operates a fresh seafood business out of Chincoteague, Virginia, and she delivers seafood all up and down the coast. I love all seafood but haven't really ever cooked fish at home, though I do love it and order it often when we go out.

Since it is very healthy and good for you, we wanted to try it so we met her yesterday and she brought us some fish while delivering to various locations along the shore.

Mrs. Dawson gave us some Sea Bass, Tile Fish, and Mahi Mahi.

Today, we cooked the Sea Bass, for lunch, and OMG, it was the first time I've ever had Sea Bass but without any exaggeration, it was one of the Top 5 things I've ever eaten!

I was totally blown away by how this fish had absolutely NO fish taste at all. It was delicious!!! I've seen it on many menus around but just never tried it and I totally admit it, I was missing out! My wife and I both said it was one of the best things we've ever eaten!!!

I am going to be Mrs Dawson's best customer with this stuff. It was really that good!!! If you need fresh seafood, that is already cleaned and packaged, I HIGHLY recommend you contact Katie The Lobsta Lady!!! She is awesome and the food is out of this world!!!

Also, just so you all know, Mrs. Eastern Shore Undercover absolutely LOVES that olive oil from Mrs. Katie! We have tried probably 20 different kinds of olive oil and nothing even remotely comes close to the taste of that stuff. It really is good! A+++

4/26/2025 - Today, we got another fish order from Mrs. Katie and it was outstanding! We got Rockfish this time and White Perch and both were absolutely delicious! We also stocked up on some more Olive Oil, which my wife will never run out of! She absolutely loves it!

9/21/2025 - Yesterday, Mrs. Katie The Lobsta Lady swung by and we got some fish from her, along with my wife's favorite Olive Oil. Well, I never really tell Mrs. Katie what I want, I just say, "Give me XXX worth of fish" and then she picks out what she thinks we would like.

My wife is a little picky with fish, she doesn't like anything with a real fishy taste to it. So this time, I wasn't here but my wife met with her and she gave us some Trigger Fish.

I had never tried it, nor had my wife, so tonight for dinner, my wife looked up a recipe and she cooked it over a bed of rice.

BEST FISH I'VE EVER ATE! NO EXAGGERATION!

I love the Sea Bass that we get from her but it now plays second fiddle to the Trigger Fish! DELICIOUS! My wife and I both agreed, we could eat that every single day!

I do not know if that is something she gets often but we will definitely be making room in our freezers for more!

5/30/2026 - A few days ago, we let you know that Katie the Lobstah Lady has added homemade cakes and sweet treats to her lineup. She delivers them right along with her lobsters and fish every Saturday.

Well, we decided to place an order for some rockfish, triggerfish, and her amazing olive oil. When she delivered our fish, she left us a butterscotch pound cake to try.

My wife got to it before I did and spent the better part of an hour sending me text after text about how delicious it was. She made sure I knew she was enjoying every bite while I was still out.

When I finally got home and tried it for myself, I completely understood why. It was a pound cake, and it did not disappoint.

We all know Mrs. Katie brings some of the best fish and lobster around. But the next time you place your order, make sure you take a look at her cakes too. You will not be disappointed!
