PARKSIDE PLANETARIUM PRESENTS: ONW WORLD, ONE SKY

MAY 22,2024

One World, One Sky is a show that follows Sesame Street's Big Bird and Elmo as they explore the night sky with Hu Hu Zhu, a Muppet from Zhima Jie, the Chinese co-production of Sesame Street.

Together, they take an imaginary trip from Sesame Street to the moon, where they discover how different it is from Earth.

One World, One Sky is a brilliant spectacle of light and color as the furry friends watch the stars twinkle over Sesame Street. Children attending the show can interact as they watch, drawing constellations and counting the time it takes the sun to set.

The show aims to nurture a child's natural sense of wonder about the night sky while forging cross-cultural connections, and bridging kids across nations through a common bond in learning about the sky together.

May 22, 23, and 24! $5.00 per person payable as cash or check (WCPS) at the door when you arrive.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept electronic payments at this time.

Two shows per night, 5:30pm and 6:30pm, first come, first seated. We only have 65 seats available for each show.

Recommended for the whole family! Please park in the large driveway off South Schumaker Dr on the side of Parkside High School directly across from the Ward Museum and next to the tall Rams tower.

Please DO NOT park in front of the school's main entrance on Beaglin Park Dr. Look for the signs leading you up the sidewalk under the awning to the glass doors. Go through two sets of glass doors and turn right. The planetarium is on your right.

Please plan on arriving at least 15 minutes before showtime so everyone can be seated and start the show on time.

Once the planetarium is full, we will close the doors. If you have any more questions, or need more information, please email Kevin Hill at khill@wcboe.org.
