A local softball team is raising money for the season ahead. The Twisted Rebels, a 16U travel softball team, will host a carwash, cookout and car show on Saturday, September 5, 2026. The event runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The fundraiser will take place at the ERA Martin Associates Building, located at 1000 East Main Street in Salisbury, Maryland. Organizers are inviting the community to come out and support the team while enjoying a full day of activities.

Carwashes will be available for $10. Guests can also grab hot dogs, chips and a can drink for $7.

A car show will be part of the day's events, featuring modified race cars on display. DJ T-Dome will provide music throughout the event to keep the atmosphere lively.

There will also be a 50/50 raffle for anyone hoping to walk away with some extra cash. Organizers noted that the raffle winner does not need to be present to win.

Families are encouraged to bring the kids along. A bounce house area will be set up for children to enjoy during the event.

Sweet treats will also be available for anyone looking for something extra to snack on throughout the day.
