The Community Players of Salisbury will present Annie at the Wicomico High School Auditorium from November 7 through November 9, 2025. The Community Players of Salisbury is one of Maryland's oldest continuously operating community theaters.
Annie follows a young orphan whose optimism inspires those around her. The musical includes songs such as "It's the Hard Knock Life," "Maybe," and "Tomorrow." The production is set in 1930s New York City and features characters including Daddy Warbucks, Miss Hannigan, Grace Farrell, the dog Sandy, and a group of orphans.
The production is directed by Sherri Trader-Hynes, with musical direction by Jeffrey Baer and choreography by Shelby Trenary. The cast consists of local performers from the Eastern Shore.
