WSW's Walk for Awareness is back and celebrating its 25th anniversary!
This special milestone event returns to The Centre at Salisbury, offering participants a comfortable, weather-proof indoor setting to walk, connect, celebrate, and support an important cause.
This year's Walk for Awareness will feature several special activities, including a Pink Outfit Contest, Walk Down Memory Lane, and the return of "Survivor" and "Supporter" T-shirts, along with additional activities throughout the event.
Participants will complete two laps around the inside of the mall, with plenty of opportunities along the route to visit vendors, connect with others, and enjoy the celebration.
Registration is $30 per person, dog registration is $5, and children ages 5 and under are free. Participants may register online, visit the WSW Office, or call 410-548-7880.
Team packets are now available for pickup at the office, making this the perfect time to register, build your team, and begin fundraising.
Participants who register and provide payment before Friday, October 2 at 3:00 PM will receive a free 25th Annual Walk for Awareness T-shirt and may choose either a "Supporter" or "Survivor" T-shirt.
Anyone who registers or submits payment after the October 2 deadline will not receive a T-shirt. Day-of-event registration begins at 9:00 AM.
Vendors will be set up along the walking route and may be visited before, during, or after the walk. Join WSW in celebrating 25 years of walking with purpose, honoring survivors, supporting loved ones, and bringing the community together.
