13-Year old and 12-Year old Arrested for Theft from Vehicles in Seaford, Delaware

Seaford, DE - On Monday, March 9, 2026, at approximately 1:51 a.m., officers were dispatched to the area of State Street in Seaford, Delaware in response to reports of two unknown black males possibly stealing items from vehicles.

Several troopers from Delaware State Police Troop 5 responded to assist with the incident.

A 13-year-old and a 12-year-old juvenile matching the description were located in the area of Central Elementary School. A search revealed multiple items stolen from the victims' vehicle.

The juveniles were arrested and charged with two counts of theft under $1,500, a Class A misdemeanor. They were also charged with one count of tampering with a vehicle, a misdemeanor.

Following the arrests, they were issued a court date for Family Court and turned over to their guardians.
