17-Year-Old Victim Targeted in Road Rage Shooting Incident in Salisbury

Salisbury, Maryland - On the evening of July 31, 2025, at approximately 7:26 p.m., officers from the Salisbury Police Department responded to a residence within the 600 block of E. Isabella Street following reports of a road rage incident.


According to an investigation conducted by officers and detectives of the Salisbury Police Department, the incident occurred in the area of Benny Street and Clay Street in Salisbury, Maryland.


The investigation revealed that a 17-year-old female was driving in the area when an adult male, operating a van, began driving erratically. The victim attempted to evade the van, at which point the suspect exited the vehicle and displayed a handgun.


The suspect then proceeded to shoot at the victim's vehicle as she fled the scene. Fortunately, no injuries were reported.


The suspect was identified as 38-year-old Salvador Valadez. Early this morning, members of the Salisbury Police Department executed a search and seizure warrant at a residence within the 600 block of Dover Street, where Valadez was located and taken into custody without incident.


He was subsequently transferred to the Wicomico County Detention Center to appear before a District Court Commissioner.
