21 Officers Graduate Eastern Shore Justice Academy
Wicomico County, MD - Twenty-one jail and correctional officers recently graduated from the 123rd entrance-level class of the Eastern Shore Criminal Justice Academy. The academy is operated by Wor-Wic Community College in Salisbury.
The graduates represent facilities across Wicomico, Worcester, Somerset, Dorchester, and Caroline counties.
The graduation exercises were held in Guerrieri Hall on the college campus. Donald Rollyson Jr., associate director of the academy, and Rob Dell'Erba, academy coordinator, presided over the ceremony.
Major Tracie Purnell of the Eastern Correctional Institution delivered the commencement address. Manisha Camper of the Caroline County Department of Corrections served as the class speaker.
The graduating class included officers from several regional departments. Daquantae' White graduated from the Wicomico County Department of Corrections. De'nesha Dale, Dashon Nuttall, and Jacob Shourds graduated from the Worcester County Jail and Detention Center.
Thirteen officers from the Eastern Correctional Institution completed the program. These graduates included Christina Bloedoorn, Billy Colston, Ja'Kea Cornish, Cincere Dennis, Kimberly Duffy, Brandon Gilbow, James Jester, Jamaica Johnson, Brittany Marshall, Terrance Milton, Stanford Vickers Jr., Joshua Wenner, and Jennifer Wissler.
The Upper Shore region was also represented in the graduating class. Manisha Camper and Dexter Lynn graduated from the Caroline County Department of Corrections. Vince Ivan Dela Cruz and Gerald Dietrich graduated from the Dorchester County Department of Corrections.
