The Rescue Fire Department responded to the incident, and was able to bring the fire under control within 10 minutes.

The fire, discovered by a neighboring resident, originated at the rear of the camper. Preliminary investigations indicate that the cause of the fire was accidental, resulting from an electrical event involving the camper's power cord, which was plugged into a generator.

The camper and its contents sustained significant damage. The estimated loss stands at $15,000 for the structure and $5,000 for contents. Heat from the fire caused additional damage to a nearby residence located at 700 Robbins Street and two small sheds situated behind the property.
