Altercation at Easton High School Results in Juvenile Charges

EASTON, MD - On December 17, 2025, a physical altercation occurred at Easton High School involving multiple students. At approximately 11:18 am, school staff and the assigned School Resource Officer (SRO) responded to a disturbance in the main hallway.

The incident was initiated between two female students. A third female student joined the altercation shortly after it began.

Numerous other students in the hallway became involved, while some attempted to assist staff in separating the parties. This resulted in further disorder in the area.

School personnel and the SRO successfully separated the primary aggressors. One student was escorted to the main office, while the other two remained in the hallway under the supervision of security and the SRO.

The two students who were being held in the hallway subsequently got loose and ran to the main office, where the third female was being held. They attempted to assault the third student for a second time.

Additional deputies from the Sheriff's Office responded to the scene to assist staff in maintaining order. All three juveniles were referred to the Department of Juvenile Services for charges. They were released to the custody of their guardians.
