Arrest Made Following Traffic Stop on Chestertown Road

Kent County, MD - On February 28, 2026, shortly before midnight, Sergeant S. Lockerman conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for a traffic violation. The incident occurred on Chestertown Road near Airy Hill Road.

During the roadside interview, the officer observed indicators of impairment.

The operator of the vehicle was identified as 34-year-old Jeffrey Anthony Duncan 2nd of Chestertown, Maryland. Duncan performed poorly on standardized field sobriety tests. He was subsequently arrested by law enforcement for DUI.

Duncan was formally charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, driving while impaired by alcohol, and driving under the influence of alcohol per se. Duncan was issued appropriate citations and then was released to a sober driver.
