Baltimore Man Cited for Theft at Easton Supermarket

Easton, MD - On January 19, 2026, officers from the Easton Police Department responded to a report of theft. The incident occurred at Giant Foods, located at 8223 Elliott Road in Easton, Maryland.

Loss prevention staff reported that a suspect had concealed merchandise within his jacket. The individual then left the premises without payment.

The suspect was identified as Dalton T. Edmonds, a 35-year-old resident of Baltimore. The items taken included cough suppressant and lollipops, with a total value of $16.08.

Surveillance footage recorded the suspect departing the area in a vehicle registered to his name.

Officers located the suspect's vehicle later that afternoon at a residence in Easton. Edmonds was contacted by police at that location. He was subsequently issued a criminal citation for theft.
