Bank Robbery Reported at Seaford M&T Bank Location

SEAFORD, DE - Seaford Police officers and Delaware State Police responded to a bank robbery at M&T Bank located at 509 W Stein Highway on September 9, 2025. The incident was reported at approximately 2:09 pm.

Upon arrival, officers confirmed that a black male suspect had entered the bank and presented a note to a clerk demanding money. The suspect fled the scene in a vehicle with an undisclosed amount of cash. No weapon was displayed during the incident.

Law enforcement conducted a search of the surrounding area but was unable to locate the suspect. Officials confirmed that no witnesses or victims sustained injuries during the robbery.
