BASKETS FOR RECORY SUPPORTS LOCAL RECOVERY PROGRAMS

Salisbury, MD - The Recovery Resource Center (RRC), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, is hosting its signature fundraiser, Baskets for Recovery, to benefit local recovery programs. This event combines an online auction with an in-person celebration to support peer recovery programs across the Eastern Shore.


Event Details


The online auction is now open for bidding and will remain active until **Thursday, June 26, at 6:30 p.m.** Participants can register to bid on auction items by visiting: https://secure.qgiv.com/event/recoveryresourcecenterauction/.


The auction features a diverse array of items, including:


  • Signed baseballs and jerseys as collectible memorabilia  
  • Nonalcoholic items such as Rise Up coffee, tea, and handcrafted mugs from Amused Studios  
  • Wellness packages designed to rejuvenate and recharge  
  • Unique experiences, including tickets to Shorebirds games and gift cards to local businesses  


To conclude the event, an in-person happy hour will be held on **Thursday, June 26, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.** at the Museum of Eastern Shore Culture, located at 218 W. Main Street in Salisbury. Guests attending this celebration will have the opportunity to view auction items on display, place final bids, and enjoy a community-focused evening.


Highlights of the Happy Hour


  • Final Bidding Opportunities: All bidding will close promptly at 6:30 p.m.  
  • Refreshments: Handcrafted nonalcoholic beverages (mocktails) and light hors d'oeuvres will be available.  
  • Networking: Attendees can connect with community leaders, advocates, and those who support recovery efforts.  


Successful bidders who attend the event will be able to take their items home that evening, while others will receive pickup instructions after the event.

The funds raised from the **Baskets for Recovery** auction and event directly support recovery programs aimed at helping individuals and families affected by addiction. Every bid and every sip supports life-changing recovery programs, helping individuals and families thrive beyond addiction.
