BLUE STAR LAW ENFORCEMENT SURVIVORS SUPPORT ASSOCIATION INC ANNOUNCES NEW 501C3 CHARITY TO ASSIST LAW ENFORCEMENT AND CORRECTIONAL OFFICER'S FAMILIES
The Blue Star Law Enforcement Family Survivors Support Association Inc. recently announced the formation of its new 501C3 tax deductible Public Charity, dedicated to supporting the families and colleagues of fallen Law Enforcement and Correctional Officers.
This association consists of family members (Survivors) and colleagues of Law Enforcement and Correctional Officers who have lost their lives on duty. The organization runs purely on voluntary efforts, relying on Survivors to support its operations.
Blue Star's main goal is to provide immediate comfort and support to the families of the fallen officers. Furthermore, they strive to help the colleagues of these brave individuals during their grieving process. They also collaborate with the deceased member's agency assisting with arrangements and providing information about benefits entitled to the families.
The association is organizing an awareness and media event slated for Friday, September 13, 2024, at the Francis Scott Key Family Resort in Ocean City, Maryland. The event is scheduled to commence at 2pm.
Members of Blue Star, families, and colleagues of Fallen Officers will be present to provide further insight into the organization and its long-term objectives.
For individual interviews or teasers leading up to the event, please contact Andrew Mutchler at 240-832-5148, or via email at mutchlersscop@yahoo.com.
Blue Star is a registered 501 (c), (3) Charitable Organization and accepts tax-deductible donations. For additional information, please visit www.bluestarsurvivors.com or call 410-708-1334.
