Wicomico County, MD - Travelers on the Lower Eastern Shore will soon experience increased travel options to Central Florida. Breeze Airways announced the addition of a nonstop Wednesday flight between Salisbury and Orlando.

This service begins on April 1. It brings the airline's schedule at Salisbury to three flights per week. The increase in weekly frequency indicates strong demand for this route. It also demonstrates continued confidence in the Salisbury market.

Lukas Johnson, Breeze Airways' chief commercial officer, commented on the success of the route.

"We have been really pleased with the demand we've seen from Salisbury for our Orlando service," said Lukas Johnson, Breeze Airways' chief commercial officer for Breeze Airways.

"And that is evident by this added weekly frequency. We know the community enjoys Breeze's added affordability, and the great convenience of being able to fly right out of their own backyards with shorter TSA lines, easier travel days, and more."

County Executive Julie Giordano also welcomed the expansion. She noted the importance of the route to the region's economy and quality of life.

"This added Wednesday flight is a clear sign that our airport is thriving and that demand for convenient, affordable air service continues to grow," Giordano said. "Expanded Breeze service means more options for our residents, stronger tourism connections, and continued momentum for Salisbury Regional Airport as a critical economic driver for Wicomico County and the entire Eastern Shore."

This additional flight improves nonstop connectivity between Salisbury Regional Airport and Orlando International Airport. It facilitates easier leisure and family travel while supporting local business and tourism.
