Brenda Moore Promoted to Special Events Director for Town of Ocean City
Ocean City, MD - The Town of Ocean City has announced the promotion of Brenda Moore to the position of Special Events Director, effective January 12, 2026. Moore has spent more than twenty years with the town, where she has focused on planning and executing community events for both residents and visitors.
Moore is known for her detailed approach and strong work ethic. She has been involved in managing several major events, including Springfest, Sunfest, and Winterfest. Her experience includes balancing creative programming with logistical requirements and maintaining partnerships across various town departments.
"Brenda's leadership, institutional knowledge, and passion for special events make her an ideal fit for this role," said Tom Perlozzo, Director of Tourism & Business Development. "She understands what makes Ocean City special and brings the experience, creativity, and vision needed to continue elevating our event portfolio."
In her new position, Moore will lead the Special Events Division. She will be responsible for overseeing existing event traditions and developing new events to support Ocean City as a year-round destination.
