Bridgeville Man Issued Criminal Citation Following Theft From Target
Talbot County, MD - On February 20, 2026, a report of a theft at a local Target store was responded to by officers from the Easton Police Department. Upon their arrival, an adult male suspect was found detained by loss prevention personnel inside the store's office.
A preliminary investigation determined that the suspect had bypassed all points of sale after paying for only a single water bottle. Additional store merchandise was concealed by the individual during the incident.
The suspect was identified as 20-year-old Leland Schindler-Hunter of Bridgeville, Delaware.
Assorted jewelry and clothing items, with a total value of $127.48, were found in his possession.
All merchandise was successfully recovered by officers and returned to the store.
Following the investigation, a criminal citation for theft was issued to Schindler-Hunter, and he was subsequently released.
