Cambridge Driver Charged with DUI Following Traffic Stop
Cambridge, MD - On February 12, 2026, Cambridge Police Department (CPD) officers initiated a traffic stop on Maces Lane at Robbins Street. The incident occurred at approximately 11:06 p.m. following an observed speed violation.
Officers identified the driver of the vehicle as 43-year-old Thomas Lawrence Walker of Cambridge, Maryland.
During the interaction, officers observed signs indicating potential impairment. A Standardized Field Sobriety Test was subsequently administered, which Walker did not pass. He was then placed under arrest and transported to the Cambridge Police Department for further testing.
Walker consented to a breath test at the station. The results indicated a Blood Alcohol Concentration (BAC) of 0.12. Following the procedure, he was issued citations and released.
Walker faces several charges, including driving while under the influence of alcohol per se, driving while under the influence of alcohol, driving while impaired by alcohol, and driving without a license.
