Cambridge, MD-A recent disturbance in the 600 block of Greenwood Ave landed a local Cambridge resident, Deborah Deneice Humphreys, in handcuffs. At around 3:52 p.m. on March 19, 2024, Cambridge Police responded to a report of trespassing at the above-stated location. 

Upon arrival, officers encountered Humphreys engaged in a heated argument with a group of individuals. The confrontation escalated rapidly, with Humphreys attempting to assault one of the individuals physically by trying to slap them. 

Her actions created significant turmoil, compelling the officers to quell the altercation by arresting Humphreys.

Humphreys was later released but given a Criminal Citation. The individual who was threatened by Humphreys' assaultive behavior disengaged from cooperating with the officers. The specific charge levied against Humphreys was Disorderly Conduct.
