Cambridge Man Arrested Following Disturbance on Pine Street

CAMBRIDGE, MD -Cambridge Police Department officers responded to a physical altercation in the 400 block of Pine Street on September 8, 2025, at approximately 9:47 a.m.
Upon arrival, officers made contact with the parties involved in the incident. During the investigation, Devon Tyqwon Rogers, a 19-year-old Cambridge resident, became irate and continued to create a disturbance at the scene.
Officers instructed Rogers to cease his disruptive behavior. Rogers refused to comply with the officers' commands. When officers attempted to detain him, Rogers began to resist arrest and assumed an aggressive posture while threatening to strike an officer.
Officers quickly subdued Rogers and placed him under arrest. He was transported to the Cambridge Police Department for processing before being transferred to the Dorchester County Department of Corrections, where he is being held without bond.
Rogers faces multiple charges in connection with the incident. He has been charged with second-degree assault, obstruct and hinder, and resist arrest.
