Cambridge Man Arrested Following Traffic Stop in Talbot County

TALBOT COUNTY, MD - On December 10, 2025, deputies from the Talbot County Sheriff's Office conducted a traffic stop on St Michael's Road. The incident occurred near Travelers Rest Road after a vehicle committed a moving violation.

The driver was identified as Devon Alexander Jones, a 38-year-old resident of Cambridge, Maryland. During the stop, deputies developed probable cause to search the vehicle. A K-9 team from the Sheriff's Office arrived to assist with the investigation.

Upon searching the vehicle, deputies recovered a controlled substance and related paraphernalia. Jones was subsequently placed under arrest.

He was transported to the Talbot County Central Booking facility for processing. Following an initial appearance before a District Court Commissioner, Jones was held pending further action by the courts.
