Cambridge Man Arrested on Drug and Traffic Charges Following Stop Sign Violation

CAMBRIDGE, MD - Cambridge Police Department officers arrested a 35-year-old man on multiple drug possession and traffic violation charges following a routine traffic stop on August 25, 2025.
Officers conducted the traffic stop at approximately 10:00 a.m. on Moores Avenue at Robbins Street after observing a stop sign violation on High Street at Washington Street. The driver was identified as Chavonne Anthony Corbin-Stanley of Cambridge, Maryland.
During the traffic stop, officers observed drug paraphernalia in plain view within the vehicle. A subsequent search of the vehicle resulted in the discovery of crack cocaine and related paraphernalia.
Investigation revealed that Corbin-Stanley was operating the vehicle without a valid driver's license.
Corbin-Stanley was arrested and later released on personal recognizance. He faces the following charges:
- CDS Possession with Intent to Distribute Narcotic
- CDS Possession Not Cannabis
- CDS Possession Paraphernalia
- Failure to Display License
- Driving Without a License
- Failure to Stop at Stop Line
