Cambridge Police Arrest Man Following Domestic Disturbance

CAMBRIDGE, MD - Cambridge Police Department officers arrested a 43-year-old man on assault charges following a physical disturbance on Sunday evening.


The incident occurred on August 25, 2025, at approximately 9:53 p.m. in the 1300 block of Stone Boundary. Officers responded to reports of a physical disturbance at the location.


Upon arrival, officers encountered Antonio Vega, a 43-year-old Cambridge resident. Vega had visible blood and lacerations on his hands and arms. He told officers he had punched his own vehicle window.


During the investigation, officers spoke with another individual at the scene. This person reported being assaulted by Vega. The alleged victim stated Vega had picked them up by the neck and throat area before throwing them.


Officers placed Vega under arrest at the scene. He was later released on a $3,000 bond.


Vega faces one charge of second-degree assault in connection with the incident.
