Cambridge Police Charge Woman in $12,000 Theft Scheme

Cambridge, MD - On January 29, 2026, officers from the Cambridge Police Department served a Criminal Summons to Laniya Nicole Pasley. Pasley is a 34-year-old resident of Cambridge, Maryland.

She has been charged with a theft scheme valued between $1,500 and $25,000. Additional charges include six counts of theft between $1,500 and $25,000, and one count of theft between $100 and $1,500.

These charges stem from an investigation initiated by the Cambridge Police Department on July 7, 2025. The inquiry focused on a suspected employee theft totaling over $12,000.

The alleged incidents occurred on multiple dates throughout June 2025. Through investigation, officers identified Pasley as the offender and applied for charges with the Court Commissioner.
